The Pennines

A photo essay showcasing the misty lakes, looming clouds and eerie hills of the Peak District.

Photography by Elliott Waring

Elliott Waring's photography perfectly captures the true essence of the Peak District and it's misty skies, looming clouds, eerie hills and winding roads. The Peak District is an upland area in England at the southern end of the Pennines between the northern cities of Manchester and Sheffield.

Focusing on craggy rock faces, dark green hills and horizons disappearing gently into the rumbling sky, his work is a true reflection of the beauty of this rugged Northern landscape.
